SPAN's Inaugural Social Gathering

The first reunion of the University Scholars Programme (USP), Core Curriculum and Talent Development Programme classes of 1996-2003 was held in January.

Approximately 53 alumni and faculty members attended the inaugural social get-together. Alumni also viewed student projects in the Cyberarts Studio, several of which were theirs and were produced during their Cyberarts and Music & Technology classes.

Fellow alumni regaled those present with anecdotes of the ‘good ole days’, enjoying the opportunity to reconnect and revisit. Most have embarked on a career or are pursuing graduate studies locally or abroad.

Alumni also caught up with the 11 faculty members who were present. Several faculty members expressed pleasure at seeing everyone again, and were glad to learn that the graduates are now doing well. It was a much appreciated opportunity for both faculty and alumni to network.
