It was two celebrations in one evening at the NUS Business School Alumni
Reunion Dinner 2003. Firstly, it was a wonderful evening when old friends
celebrated coming together to catch up on old times. At the same time,
two distinguished graduates were recognised as eminent alumni at the
inaugural Eminent Alumni Awards.
Peter Seah (BBA ’68), President and Chief Executive Officer of
Singapore Technologies Pte Ltd, and Wong Ah Long (MBA ’72), Chief
Executive Officer of Suntec City Development Pte Ltd had the honour
of being the first Eminent Alumni Awards recipients.
The awards are presented in recognition of alumni’s
Outstanding achievement and prominence in the political, academic
or business arena
Economic contribution or public service to Singapore
Close links and contribution to the NUS Business School and/or NUS
Alumni get together
for an evening of fun and entertainment
“We salute Peter and Ah Long for their success and contributions.
They are most deserving of the accolades they have received over the
years. We are pleased to recognise them with the Eminent Alumni Awards,”
says Professor Christopher Tang, Dean of NUS Business School.
Nominations for the Eminent Alumni Awards are open to all alumni. The
selection committee comprises Dean Professor Christopher Tang, NUS Business
School Alumni President Mr Yeo Keng Joon and the organising committee
of the alumni reunion dinner.
