In conjunction with its 25th anniversary celebration, AIESEC Singapore
Alumni organised the first AIESEC Alumni Asia-Pacific Congress from
20 - 21 March. The event attracted AIESEC alumni from more than
15 AIESEC chapters in the Asia-Pacific region and other countries.
The theme for the event was Building a Cross Border Organisation.
The congress was held in conjunction with the AIESEC Asia-Pacific
eXchange Leadership Development Seminar, an annual AIESEC regional
meeting.
During the alumni congress, AIESEC alumni in the Asia-Pacific
region discussed about setting up a AIESEC Alumni Asia-Pacific
Network. The aim is to bring alumni in the region closer together
and to create a platform for cross border networking and collaborations
on community projects and the formation of common interest groups.
