AlumMAIL is a complimentary lifelong email account for all alumni. The email address bears the hallmark of excellence which identifies you as an alumnus of a prestigious global University.
Your student email account will automatically be converted into a complimentary lifelong NUS alumni email account. The seamless migration will port-over all the current emails in your student account to the alumni email account. Emails sent to your student account will not be auto-forwarded to your alumni account. Please inform all your friends and any other contacts about the change of your email account by 29 Jun 2008.
Kindly take note of the following:

On 30 Jun 2008, your student email account will be ceased
•
On 5 Jul 2008, your AlumMAIL will be activated.
•
You NEED NOT apply for an email account via AlumNET.
•
Please use your Student email account username and password to login to your AlumMAIL account.
Students who have applied for friendly email alias, the AlumMAIL account login username would be as per friendly email alias prefix. If you would like to have a friendly email alias for your alumni account, you can consider setting a friendly email alias for your current student email account. For Friendly email alias, please refer to this url: https://exchange.nus.edu.sg/pea/. Once your friendly email alias has been set for your student account, it will be brought over to your AlumMAIL account.

Is your choice of Friendly Email Alias choice already taken?
If your chosen, friendly email alias for your student account has already been taken, your student email account will be migrated to AlumMAIL using your unique student id (i.e. uxxxxxx or gxxxxxx).
After the migration on 5 July 2008, you can then login into AlumNET and change your username.
For those who already have an existing AlumMAIL account
A few of you may have already signed up for an AlumMAIL account prior to this seamless migration. If this is the case, your current student account will not be migrated as each alumnus is entitled to only one AlumMAIL account.
If you would like to have your current student account migrated over to a new AlumMAIL account, please backup or forward the email in your existing AlumMAIL to your alternate email account. Once your existing AlumMAIL is removed, any mail in the mailbox will be deleted.
After you have done so, please email us (oarconnect@nus.edu.sg) with a heading AlumMAIL - Remove existing account' and include your full name, matriculation number and student user id by 20 June 2008, so that we can proceed with the removal of your existing AlumMAIL account - to facilitate the migration on 30 June 2008.
As a user of AlumMAIL, you can now use your AlumMAIL address to login to the e-Community. See the login box at top left.
