Overview

We are happy to announce that we have successfully launched an additional NUS overseas alumni chapter in Auckland, New Zealand on 20 March 2005. More than 40 alumni and friends turned up for the inaugural dinner which was hosted by Director of Alumni Relations, Assoc Prof Teo Choo Soo. Her Excellency Ms Seetoh Hoy Cheng, High Commissioner to New Zealand - an alumna from University of Singapore graced the event. Also present were Assoc Prof Lawrence Loh, Vice President (University and Global Relations), Prof Liew Ah Choy (Director, International Relations Office) and Prof Jacob Phang (CEO, NUS Enterprise). The New Zealand chapter marks the 12th overseas alumni chapter we have, bridging the world to NUS and NUS to the rest of the world.
