Overview The inaugural dinner for NUS alumni in Beijing was held at the Rennaisance Beijing Hotel on 11 March 2006. The dinner was hosted by Associate Professor Teo Choo Soo, Director of Office of Alumni Relations. Associate Professor Lawrence Loh, Vice President of University and Global Relations gave a welcome address to alumni in Chinese at the event. More than 90 alumni and friends turned out in support of their alma mater as well as to partake in NUS Centennial Celebrations. The event was graced by members of the Singapore diplomatic community, key leaders of overseas partner institutions including the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Contact Singapore.
