Birth of Overseas Chapter

• The launch of NUS’ 14 th Alumni Chapter took place on 18 August 2006 at Melbourne, Australia. The dinner gathering for about 50 alumni, supporters and friends of NUS meant catching up with former classmates and uncovering past ties and links with friends and family. Associate Professor Lawrence Loh, NUS Vice President (University and Global Relations) and Associate Professor Teo Choo Soo, Director of Office of Alumni Relations, were present to launch the Melbourne Chapter. Dr Soh Leng Lu (Class of ‘73) chairs the Alumni Chapter in Melbourne. Members of the Melbourne Alumni Chapter Committee include Dr Ek Lee Ching, Dr Ang Kuan Mee and Mrs Elizabeth Foo.
